“Let us supply you for your outdoor adventure”
Powell Rivers’ outdoor recreational season kicks off in May and continues on through the September long weekend. One of the great ways to enjoy your vacation is the canoe route. The canoe route extends through 8 lakes with 2 portages, all are well marked and range from .07 km to 2.4 km. Good running shoes are all you need for these trails.

The route can easily be done in 3.4 days but with extra time on your hands you can explore some of the surrounding lakes. If only a day or two is in your plans you can easily go to Horseshoe Lake or find your way into Khartorim.
Each campsite has picnic tables, fire pits and outhouses usually situated scenically on the lake. Swimming is a must when it is warm as all the lakes have clear, pristine water.
If you don’t have time for an overnight trip how about a day of fun on Lois Lake in a 2 person peddle boat or take one of our sport kayaks for a trip around the scenic lake. The Sports Kayaks are light, very buoyant and easy to manage by one person. The two man paddle boat, (with built in cooler for drinks and lunch) is a slower, more relaxed way to play.
All canoes are outfitted with safety kits, 3 paddles and life vests. For all your extra needs check out our retail store where we sell everything from sleeping bags, camp stoves, tarps, hatchets and dry bags.
The lakes have Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout and Lois Lake even has some Kokanee Salmon. So while your canoe is getting loaded come in and stock up on some fishing tackle and ask Dave where they’re catching them.
Transportation is available for drop off and pickup on the route. The earlier you book the better times you can choose for these. Parking is available for free, but at your own risk on the property.
Reservations require Visa or M/C #. If you cancel with less then 1 week a 1 day rental charge will be applied to your card. (No Exceptions)
